affiliated companies (pleasemum.com). We are committed to providing our

Payment and Shipping
When you purchase a Please Mum product or service, you may need to
provide us with contact and payment information (such as credit card
information) so that we can process your purchase. When shopping online
at pleasemum.com, we may need your personal information in order to
ship your order to you. If we collect this information, we will also
ask for your consent to use this information to send you updates about
sales and promotions, new product arrivals, contests and other relevant
announcements via email, direct mail and telephone.

Please Mum provides ongoing updates about sales and promotions, new
product arrivals, contests and other relevant announcements via email,
direct mail and telephone to VIP Gold members. You can join our VIP
Gold program when visiting our Web Site or when shopping in our stores.
To enroll, we will collect your contact information (such as name,
address, telephone number and e-mail address). This information will
only be used to contact you about Please Mum or our affiliates
(pleasemum.com). If you shopped with Please Mum and provided your
personal information before January 1, 2004 you were automatically
enrolled in our VIP Gold program and are entitled to VIP Gold member
benefits. You can unsubscribe or change your contact preferences at any
time by contacting your nearest Please Mum store or by emailing us at chiefprivacyofficer@pleasemum.com.
Participation in a Contest, Promotion, or Survey
From time to time, we run contests, promotions, and surveys. If you
choose to participate, you may be asked for contact information as well
as additional optional survey information (for example, product
preferences). Information from contest entries will be used to contact
you if you win and to verify that entrant is of the age of majority.
All contests are subject to rules specific to that particular contest.
We may also summarize and analyze survey information in a way that no
longer identifies the respondents.
Improved Shopping Experience
Providing us with your Personal Information may help to improve your
shopping experience with Please Mum. For example, we are able to speed
up your time at the register when making returns and exchanges.
Employment Opportunities
When applying for employment with Please Mum or our affiliates
(pleasemum.com), your personal information is collected in order to
determine employment eligibility. Upon hire, we will request additional
information relating to the provision of benefits and as required by
the Canada Customs and Revenue Agency and Human Resource Development
Canada.
Other Information we Collect
We may use non-personal information to compile tracking reports
regarding Web Site user demographics, Web Site traffic patterns, and
Web Site purchases, and then provide those reports to advertisers and
others. None of the tracking information in the reports can be
connected to the identities or other personal information of individual
users. We may also link tracking information with personal information
voluntarily provided by Web Site users. Once such a link is made, all

Who Has Access to my Personal Information?

Please Mum will only provide access to your personal information to

analyze our performance in order to measure and improve Please Mum and
our affiliates. Employees are kept up-to-date with regards to our
privacy and security practices and are required to sign confidentiality
agreements upon hire.
Disclosure to Service Providers
We may use leading service providers to assist us with customer
service, shipping and other key functions. We will only share
information necessary for these service providers to perform their role
in serving you on behalf of Please Mum and our affiliates
(pleasemum.com). To reduce the risk of fraud or misuse of personal
information, Please Mum may also verify your personal information with
third party service providers. These third parties will be required to
sign a confidentiality agreement that binds them to keep all customer
