Please Mum Mother's Day Contest

HOW TO ENTER

1. No purchase is necessary. Only one entry per person is permitted. Participants making multiple entries will be disqualified.

WHO CAN ENTER

2. The contest is open only to Canadian recipients of the Please Mum Online Survey.
3. Prize won by a minor must be awarded in the name of a parent or legal guardian 21 years of age or older.
4. The Contest is not open to employees of Please Mum, Elia Fashions Ltd., their advertising and promotion agencies, or their other representatives or agents, or anyone with whom any of the foregoing is domiciled.

PRIZING

5. The prize package includes a gift basket valued at over $1,500, and 4 secondary prized valued at $250 each.
6. The prize package is not redeemable for cash.
7. One prize package will be awarded.

CONTEST DRAW

8. The Contest will run from April 24 – May 9, 2008. The draw will be made three days after the contest ends on May 12, 2008.
9. Following the draw, the selected entrant will be contacted by telephone and/or email at the telephone number and email address stipulated in the entrant's Contest entry form submission.
10. All Contest entries, including the personal information provided in them become the property of Please Mum. By participating in this Contest, entrants agree to be bound by these Contest Rules and Regulations, including the eligibility requirements. The submission of an entry constitutes permission for Please Mum to use the entrant's email address and other submitted information for purposes of marketing and promotion.
11. In order to be declared a winner, the selected entrant must:
    • respond to the prize notification within five (5) days of contact by Please Mum; and
    • correctly answer, unaided, a skill-testing question; and
    • sign a declaration stating that he/she:
      • has read, understands and complies with the Contest Rules;
      • releases and discharges Please Mum, Elia Fashions Ltd., the contest organizers and their respective affiliates;
      • consents to the announcement of the winner's name and the use by or on behalf of Please Mum of the winner's name, address, photograph, likeness, voice or statements for advertising and promotional purposes without any further compensation to the winner.
12. Should the selected entrant fail to comply with any of the requirements set out in paragraph 13, the prize will be automatically forfeited and another entrant will be selected by random draw.
13. The chances of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received.

DISCLAIMER AND LIABILITY EXCLUSION

14. Please Mum, Elia Fashions Ltd., and their respective affiliates will not, under any circumstances, be responsible for, or liable to any Contest entrant or any other person for:
    • any erroneous, lost, damaged, late, incomplete, misdirected, deleted, defective, or altered Contest entries, regardless of the cause;
    • any failure for any reason whatsoever of the selected entrant to receive a prize notification email;
    • any changes in email addresses or email address assignments after Contest entry forms are submitted;
    • any computer, online, telephone, or technical malfunctions or errors that may occur, regardless of the cause; or
    • any damage or loss, including any loss of use, loss of production, loss of profits (anticipated or otherwise), loss of markets, economic loss, special, indirect or consequential loss or damage or punitive damages, whether in contract, tort or under any other theory of law or equity, arising from, connected with, or relating to the Email Survey Contest or the submission of entries to the Email Survey Contest or participation in the Email Survey Contest or the Contest prize, and regardless of the cause or any negligence by Please Mum, Elia Fashions Ltd., or anyone for whom Please Mum, Elia Fashions Ltd. are responsible, may have been advised of the possibility of such loss or damage being incurred.

OTHER MATTERS

15. If for any reason the Email Survey Contest is not capable of being conducted as intended by Please Mum, including due to computer viruses, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause that corrupts or interferes with the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Contest, Please Mum may, at its sole discretion, disqualify any entrant responsible for such misconduct and cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Contest.
16. Return of any prize notification email as undeliverable, or out of service telephone number may result in disqualification, and an alternate winner may be selected.
17. Participation in the Contest constitutes acceptance and agreement to these Contest Rules.
18. Please Mum reserves the right, at their option, to publish the winner's name, address, photograph, likeness, voice or statements without any further compensation to the winner.
19. The Email Survey Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and local laws.
