Membership 

1.    Enrolment.  To participate in the Please Mum VIP program (the “Program”), you must become a member of the Program.  Membership is free and no initial purchase is required.  Simply fill out a Program enrolment form accurately, completely and legibly at any Please Mum location.  Upon completion of the enrolment form, you will receive a Program membership card.

2.    Eligibility.  Eligibility for membership benefits is limited to the cardholder named on the enrolment form and membership card.  The Program is only open to individuals. Membership in the Program will not be granted to corporations, businesses, societies, partnerships or anyone other than an individual. 

3.    Membership Materials. The membership card is not a credit card.  The membership card and all other materials provided to you in connection with the Program are the property of Please Mum.  No membership card or other materials provided to you by Please Mum in connection with the Program may be copied, reproduced, sold or provided by you to any person other than the person eligible for benefits as set forth above.

4.    Contact Information.  You must advise Please Mum of any change of email address or other material information by visiting a Please Mum store and filling out a new enrolment form.  Please Mum will not be liable in any way for misdirected communications.   

5.    Right to Refuse Enrolment.  Please Mum reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse enrolment in the Program to any customer who does not follow the prescribed enrolment processes.

Program Benefits

6. Benefits.  Enrolment in the Program entitles members to certain benefits, set out in sections 7-12, below (the “Benefits”).
 
7. Bonus Discount upon Enrolment.  Following enrolment in the Program, you are entitled to a one-time discount off your first purchase.  The amount of this discount is subject to change and is determined based on the then current Please Mum enrolment bonus promotion advertised at Please Mum locations.
 
8. Access to Exclusive Sales.  Members of the Program are entitled to attend exclusive, members-only sale events (“Exclusive Sales”) at dates and times to be determined by Please Mum.  Except as provided in section 10(e), discounts provided at Exclusive Sales cannot be combined with any other coupon or promotional offer and are not applicable to fundraising merchandise.
 
9. Access to Exclusive Coupons.  Members are entitled to receive exclusive, members-only in store and online coupons.  The issuance of such coupons will be determined at the sole discretion of Please Mum.

10. Earn Please Mum Bucks.  Following enrolment, members are eligible to earn Please Mum Bucks on all net pre-tax purchases over $30.00, excluding the purchase of gift cards, made at Please Mum locations.  You must present your personal membership card in order to earn Please Mum Bucks.  Following a purchase, a Please Mum employee will stamp your receipt and membership card to indicate the value of merchandise purchased.  In the event that you are unable to present your membership card at the time of purchase, you may retain your receipt and have both your receipt and membership card stamped upon your next visit to a Please Mum location.  Please Mum Bucks will be awarded in the following manner:

      a. Upon making a net pre-tax purchase of between $30.00 and $49.99, you will receive a stamp representing a $30.00 purchase (a “$30 Stamp”) on your membership card.  Upon collection of five $30 Stamps you will be entitled to a discount of $15.00 off your next net pre-tax purchase of $15.00 or more. 

      b. Upon making a net pre-tax purchase of between $50.00 and $99.99, you will receive a stamp representing a $50.00 purchase (a “$50 Stamp”) on your membership card.  Upon collection of five $50 Stamps you will be entitled to a discount of $25.00 off your next net pre-tax purchase of $25.00 or more.

        c. Upon making a net pre-tax purchase of $100.00 and above, you will receive a stamp representing a $100.00 purchase (a “$100 Stamp”) on your membership card.  Upon collection of five $100 Stamps you will be entitled to a discount of $50.00 off your next net pre-tax purchase of $50.00 or more. 

      d. Members of the Program may elect to be awarded any combination of $30 Stamps, $50 Stamps and/or $100 Stamps provided that such combination does not exceed the member’s total purchase.  In the event that receiving a combination of stamps provides the user with multiple opportunities to receive additional percentage discounts off their purchase, members are not able to combine the discounts and instead will receive the greater individual discount.      

        e. Please Mum Bucks are redeemable in conjunction with any other promotional offer available at Please Mum locations.  Please Mum Bucks are treated as cash towards all in store purchases, excluding the purchase of gift cards.  Please Mum Bucks have no cash value.

      f. Purchases made prior to receiving your updated membership card will not be eligible for stamps and can therefore not be contributed towards the earning of Please Mum Bucks.

11.  Please Mum Style Specialist Program.  Members of the Program are entitled to participate in the Please Mum Style Specialist program.  Details regarding the Please Mum Style Specialist program will be emailed to all members of the Program.

12. Door Crasher Deals.  Members of the Program are entitled to participate in any Door Crasher Deals offered at the sole discretion of Please Mum.  Information regarding Door Crasher Deals will be communicated to members of the Program by Please Mum via email 

13. No Cash Value.  Benefits granted under the Program have no cash value and are not transferable in any way.

Privacy

14. Consent to Use Personal Information.  By enrolling in the Program, you are consenting to the use and disclosure of your personal information for the purpose of receiving invitations, email announcements and other promotional and marketing communications in accordance with Please Mum’s Privacy Policy available at www.pleasemum.com/privacy_policy.php.

General

15. Modification and Discontinuance. The Program (including these Terms and Conditions) may be discontinued or modified by Please Mum at any time without notice.  Any material changes to these Terms and Conditions will be made available at all Please Mum locations, upon request.  The online version of these Terms and Conditions is the governing version.  For the most current version of these Terms and Conditions please visit www.pleasemum.com/VIP.
 
16. Limitation of Liability.  Upon suspension or termination of the Program for any reason whatsoever, Please Mum will have no liability to any member of the Program and is automatically released from all claims by members of the Program in respect of such suspension, termination, forfeiture of Please Mum Bucks, redemption of Please Mum Bucks or otherwise in respect of such suspension or termination.  Upon suspension or termination of the Program, Please Mum Bucks are void and have no value.

17. Waiver.  Any waiver by Please Mum of the strict observance, performance or compliance by a member of the Program with any of the Terms and Conditions, contained herein, either expressly granted or by course of conduct, shall be effective only in the specific instance and shall not be deemed to be a waiver of any rights or remedies of Please Mum as a result of any other failure to observe, perform or comply with the Terms and Conditions.  No delay or omission by Please Mum in exercising any right or remedy hereunder shall operate as waiver thereof or of any right or remedy.

18. Release.  By redeeming Please Mum Bucks, you release Please Mum from any and all liability and claims regarding the redemption and use of the reward and any loss or damage caused by goods and services supplied as a reward. 

19. Accuracy of Terms and Conditions.  Every effort has been made to ensure that the information herein is correct.  Please Mum is not responsible for any errors or omissions.
